Endoscopic Brow Lift
Endoscopic brow lift surgery is performed to correct the sagging brows with lifting to their normal position, as well as to remove the horizontal lines by stretching the forehead skin.
HOW TO APPLY?
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Three incisions of 1-2 cm are made in the scalp above your forehead and one incision is made in the scalp in the temple area on each side. Afterwards, with the help of endoscopy, all the tissues in your forehead area are released in the deep plan and the eyebrows are pulled upwards to the desired level and fixed in their new position. During the surgery, the lines caused by frowning can be removed by weakening the muscles.
POST-OPERATIVE DRESSING
There may be mild tension, edema and pain in the forehead. The thin drain placed to prevent blood collection under the skin and the bandage wrapped around your forehead area are removed the next day.
Edema on the forehead and scalp regresses rapidly in the first week.
Since all of the incisions are on the scalp, they are closed with stapler sutures. These sutures are removed after 1 week and since the incision site is on the scalp, no postoperative scar is visible and no scar remains over time.
Painkillers can be used as postoperative medication and pain can be easily controlled.
CAN IT BE PERFORMED WITH OTHER SURGERY?
Endoscopic brow lift surgery is frequently performed especially in combination with eyelid surgeries. However, it can also be performed together with other facial surgeries (facelift, rhinoplasty, etc.).
POST-OPERATIVE FOLLOW UP
The recovery period is short and you can resume your daily life after 3-4 days. In the 1st week, you will be checked.
